Architecture Photography in Romania
In the most northern part of Romania, literally just yards from the Ukraine border, lies the small village of Sapanta. Merry Cemetery, or Cimitirul Vesel (as it's known in Romanian), is in this village. Some might consider it morbid or dark, but it is a celebration of life done creatively and lovingly.
The Merry Cemetery in Romania is a place for your bucket list. However photographing this place is a challenge, the church is incredibly high - and the graves tight and fill the space. In this video you join me on location as I battle the back-lit subject.
