Backstory:
Lewis was shipped off by his parents at a young age to an organization known as C.A.I.N. (Aka Cybernetic Applications and Implicated Neurotechnology)
Most of his life was spent within their walls, being monitored and experimented on by scientists. Their hope was to create a seamless blend of human and machine. But their lead scientist, Ezekiel Terrell tended to take their research a step too far.
After going through many procedures without giving Lewis any rest, Terrell decided to go through with replacing his arm with a mechanical one. However, due to repeated testing, Lewis cracked under the stress and pain, going on a rampage through the facility.
Nearly being caught, he decided to ensure his escape by taking a hostage. He found a young man on the medical staff named Curtis Callahan and used him to leave.
As Lewis tried to disappear into deep space to escape CAIN, he would bring Curtis with him. They would both eventually be stranded, only to be stumbled upon by the crew of Junebug.
