Somewhere out there, many years ago, two young friends shared a wonderful dream together. They never forgot. If only it had never ended...
The children claim that there's an obscure book in the Happy Little Horses series where one of the main characters goes insane and starts brutally murdering her friends to offer them as blood sacrifices to a pagan goddess. This book couldn't possibly have been real, as the independent publishing records for the series clearly show, and it is in fact an old urban legend that continues to thrive, with the claim also being made about the new wireless broadcast version of the Happy Little Horses. It can safely be assumed that all the people who honestly swear they remember reading this book or hearing the broadcast as a child are suffering from some kind of false memory or mass hysteria, as there is no documented evidence that any such episode was ever created or disseminated. Those who claim to have heard it on the wireless say the sounds and screams were disturbingly realistic, and that everyone else in the room with them just heard static when it played, which are classic signs of folklore embellishment. The persistent rumors that some of the children who read or heard the mythical story had disturbing dreams involving the goddess afterwards, and even started making blood sacrifices themselves, are also totally unfounded. It's all simply ridiculous.
