This is how you set up free invoicing and accounting through Wave software. It’s free, easy to use, streamlined, and there’s a short learning curve.

I researched lots of options, there's lots of paid options out there, but this works just as well as any of the other options. I believe the way they make their money is, if you choose to use them to accept payments, they take a small percentage of that, similar to Paypal. But also, you don't have to use them to accept payments, I use a variety of methods, some which are free and some which take a small fee.
