Pourakino Peregrination
Spring flight in my 1989 CFM 'Shadow B-D 582' microlight aircraft. Took off from Otautau, flew around Bald Hill in the Longwood Range, then south down the Pourakino Valley to Colac Bay. Tracking east, I followed the rocky south coast of New Zealand and turned inland at Riverton. Returned to Otautau, via the winding Aparima River.
Video, sound and GPS data recorded on my Sony HDR-AS300 action camera.
Camera settings/filming remotely WiFi-controlled from my iPhone using the Sony live-view "Image Editing Mobile" app.
I overlaid the camera's GPS telemetry (track/speed/course/etc), with the free Garmin "VIRB Edit" software. The final editing was done using Microsoft "Movie Maker" software.
