Mill Creek Thinning: Enhancing Forest Health and Safety
The first Wasatch Wildfire Crisis Landscape project in Mill Canyon thinned 1,600 acres through piling and lop and scatter techniques. The project is one of many planned for the tri-canyon area in the Wasatch Mountain Range, reducing the risk of a catastrophic wildfire near a major metropolitan area.
