Please note:
In iTax, a return amendment is automatically validated if it results in an increase in liability. Return amendments that result in a decrease in liability must, however, be subjected to an approval process prior to being approved and reflected in the iTax system.
The amended tax return must be accompanied by a supporting document that you relied on when doing the amendment. eg p9 form, insurance certificate, statement of taxable income, et al.
