Shrunken Heads For Halloween! (Dehydrated Apple Heads!)

Today I'm sharing a video where I show you how to make shrunken heads from apples! This is a fun craft for Halloween!
How To Make Shrunken Heads:
1. Peel apples and soak them for 30 minutes in a solution of:
1/4 cup salt
1/4 cup lemon juice
4 cups water (1 liter)
2. Pat the apples with paper towels and carve your faces!
3. Dry your apples. I put mine in the dehydrator for 8 hours. The first hour, the temperature was set to 145 F (62 C); and the next 7 hours the temperature was set to 135 F (57 C). You could also air dry them in a dry room for 3-7 days; or place them in the oven with the oven temperature at the lowest heat for up to 24 hours.
