Permanently Destroying Data on Old Drives
I've been working on computers and building PC for more than 20 years. I used to help people recover files in DOS that were accidentally (or intentionally) deleted. The only way that I know to make absolutely sure your data cannot be pulled off an old hard drive is to physically destroy the storage media.
