kali linux light is now available for downlaoding. it very light and suitable for installting on windows host virtual box machince.
Kali Linux is a Debian-derived Linux distribution designed for digital forensics and penetration testing. It is maintained and funded by Offensive Security Ltd. It was developed by Mati Aharoni and Devon Kearns of Offensive Security through the rewrite of BackTrack, their previous information security testing Linux distribution based on Knoppix. The third core developer Raphaël Hertzog joined them as a Debian expert.
Donwlaod the kali linux iso file from thier official site and follow the procedures. i have installed 64 bit amd kali linux in virtual box with windows host. the same procedure is used if you want dual boat with kali linux along windows. use usb bootable stick if you want to install on computer along windows in this tutorial i have installed it inside virtual box machine.
use user name "root" and password that you have intered during installtion, in your first time boot.
