Keçi Castle | A Mean Little Hike With Amazing Views
Always in for a hike I went up to Keçi Castle. But wow, it was steeper than expected. And going up is not my strongest point. But Keçi Castle is absolutely worth the trouble. Great views, beautiful flowers along the way and a very different feel once you are up there.
Keçi Castle, locally known as Keçi Kalesi, lies atop a mountain, northwest of the village of Belevi, in the province of Izmir in Turkey. Keçi Castle was built under Byzantine rule, somewhere between the 7th and 13th century.
