Brazilian Cheese Buns "Pao de Queijo"
This is a national dish of Brazilian cuisine and traditionally it is prepared from tapioca starch, but it can be replaced with corn starch.
For this recipe you will need:
Corn starch - 125 g.
Vegetable oil - 75 g.
Milk - 150 g.
Eggs - 1 pc.
Salt - 2/3 tsp
Cheese - 125 g.
Add vegetable oil, salt to milk and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, add corn starch, stir well, then add cheese, egg and knead until smooth.
Grease your hands with oil, mold balls, place on a baking sheet and put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
