As developers, we often need to mock APIs to enable the development and testing of services in isolation. In microservice environments, inter-dependent services are very common and difficult to manage. Mocking APIs help make frontend and other services independent of non-production environments. Various mock server tools are available on the internet, but Requestly simplifies the process of mocking. It also isolates the mocks completely, meaning there's no need to alter any services, not even the hostname. When it comes to GraphQL APIs, the challenges differ. The API endpoint remains the same, only the request body changes. Watch the video to learn how Requestly simplifies the process of mocking GraphQL APIs.
