👉 Creating a Redirect Rule
1. Add the source URL on which the rule should be applied.
2. Add a destination URL to which all search queries will be redirected.
3. Save the rule.
👉 Testing the Rule
Upon saving the rule, a test rule panel will pop up. Follow these steps:
1. Enter the page URL where you want to test the rule.
2. Check the option to save a session containing the test session video with console and network logs.
3. Click the "Test Rule" button to start the test.
👉 Rule Application Indicator
A handy widget will indicate if the rule has been applied. You can move and minimize it as you prefer.
👉 Viewing Test Results
1. Search a topic in the search bar.
2. Upon searching, you will be redirected to the URL defined in the rule.
3. The widget will indicate that the rule has been applied.
4. Click on "View Results" to see the result of the test session.
👉 Session Report and Replay
Upon completion of the test, a report is generated to confirm the execution status of the rule. Follow these steps:
1. A dedicated session is created for this report.
2. Click on "Watch Session" to watch the session replay of the test.
3. Get more details about the test session from the video, network, and console logs.
With this feature, you can quickly test your rule and ensure it is configured correctly.
