52 Songs Project #51: Cryin' Shame
This song is about how comparing ourselves to others is a fast road to misery. When I wrote it, I was thinking of a friend who was struggling with jealousy and self-righteousness. Now when I sing it, I feel that it's a warning to me to stay about of the envy trap.
