52 Songs Project #42: Back on the Chain Gang
Chrissie Hynde is one of the all-time greats of rock. I've loved her punky songs, her velvet-and-leather voice, her tough-cookie persona, and her kickin' band The Pretenders ever since I heard "Brass in Pocket" blasted at the public pool in my hometown.
Here's my band's version of "Back on the Chain Gang," played on July 9, 2016 at a house concert on Mt. Tabor in Portland.
