Raritan PowerTips LIVE: Installing TLS Security Certificate
The PX series of Intelligent rack power distribution products uses a secure TLS communication channel during the encrypted session. The PDU comes with a factory-installed security certificate but also offers a feature to generate self-signed security certificates with specific identification or deploy a user security certificate. Using the factory-installed self-signed certificate for web browser access to the PDUs will display the message “Not secure and invalid certificate authority.” Resolving these messages requires installing a signed TLS certificate from the certificate authority (CA). We encourage admins to attend this session to learn more about TLS security certificates on PDUs and different ways to mitigate these messages.
