Front Wheel Drive Bearing Failure - 2004 PT Cruiser
For two years my wife has been driving her PT Cruiser, never knowing if a front wheel failure was imminent.
Finally, taking matters into my own hands, I hope to have discovered what other mechanics missed. Of course their incompetence comes at a cost to us, as well as them, for any 'warranty repairs'.
We also replaced the front drive axles, thinking the roaring noises we were hearing could be the cause. It wasn't.
Be it known, many mechanics never pass their courses with more than a 70% passing mark. That is not comforting. Many garages have reputations for doing unnecessary work. That is terrible. When it happens to me, it makes me feel angry!
