Starving Senior Horse Needs Our Help
River was once a trail horse in the mountains when his owner fell on hard times and could no longer afford his care. Attempts to rehome him were unsuccessful and without sufficient food, River began to lose weight rapidly, his condition worsening by the day.
A rescue stepped in to save River before it was too late. Upon arrival, he was severely malnourished and close to starvation.
