Cultural Influences: How Past Experiences Shape Perception
Our perception is shaped by two main factors:
Culture: Where you come from, where you were born, your education, and how your family raised you all influence how you see the world.
Past Experiences: Events in your life that leave a mark shape your reactions, often without you even realizing it.
These factors act like two subconscious scans we make every time we see something.
We can control some factors in what we create because they are objective. But there are subjective factors that are beyond our control.
So, when creating visual messages, we can manage certain variables to enhance understanding, but other aspects remain out of reach.
