Today we'll be discussing the amendments to the Building Energy Act that were passed in the Bundestag by the coalition government (SPD, Greens, FDP) and will be put to a vote in the Bundesrat at the end of September. Robert Habeck's draft legislation faced considerable criticism beforehand, which was further fueled by the FDP and Christian Lindner's frequently demanded technological neutrality.
