Club Atlas - Accra (EP07)
In 2018 Branko took off from Portugal to the world with the director João Moreira in search of the rhythms and sounds that will set the new coordinates for dance music.
The result was Club Atlas, a TV series developed with and broadcast by RTP focusing on the world's most exciting music scenes, as seen through the perspective of a globetrotting musician.
On the seventh episode, Branko goes to the West Coast of Africa which is now becoming of the most exciting sources of musical innovation, with Accra as one of its uncontested hot spots. As the world wakes up to the vibrant Ghanaian music scene, artists like Okeame Kwame, Gafacci or Reggie Rockstone are Branko’s guides to a city where the traditional Highlife goes hand in hand with some of the freshest beats being made today.
