Gimp Tutorial: How To Zoom In & Out With Gimp:
• Select 'Magnifying Glass' on skinny toolbox window
• Zoom in option 1 - Click on area with 'plus sign' to zoom in
• Zoom out option 1 - Hold the command key and the 'plus sign' turns into a 'minus sign'... then click on screen till you find the happy size you're looking for
• Zoom in option 2 - With Mouse - 'Click/Hold/Drag' until you've selected the desired area of viewing... and once you let go, the screen will resize to the chosen area.
• Use Zoom out option 1 to back up
