My Recommended Sheepshead Setup
1. 15 lb monofilament or fluorocarbon main line
2. #1 octopus or J-style hook
3. Slip sinker
4. Knocker rig
5. Live shrimp, broken in half (use the head section)
I believe sheepshead mistake shrimp heads for small crabs or sand fleas, which triggers more aggressive bites around structure.
