Michaux MTB - Wildlfire Update 2025 05 03
The 2025 wildfires at Michaux State Forest started April 24. By Saturday May 3, the fires consumed over 2700 acres of forest. This area of the "Hammonds Rocks fire" is 100% contained. The trails not impacted by fire lines were fine, though they looked a little different. There was still a strong "campfire" smell in the air within this region.
