All the King's Horses
Made in 2005 as the final project for my senior-year high school (Honors) English class. My chosen book was Kurt Vonnegut's "Welcome to the Monkey House," so I based this little film upon the included short story entitled "All the King's Horses." By the way, stuffed animals are by far the best actors in the world to work with. ;) This was absolutely not my first foray into movie-making, but it was one of the first I slapped together on my own and therefore have the right to post...heheh.
The music (which the tape sadly screwed up at times) comes from the "Fluke" soundtrack. That--along with the "Homeward Bound" movie soundtracks, and of course that of "Steel Magnolias"--is THE most brilliant, beautiful, outstanding, & unique instrumental score ever composed for a film, in my opinion...and I'm a soundtrack fan in general.* Find it. Listen to it. Now. Thank me later. Oh, and watch the movie, too, of course. It's even better than mine. ;) Why do dog/animal movies always seem to have such exceptional scores?! Anyways, I could not believe how nearly perfectly this soundtrack just so happened to match up; it was as if the beginning had been composed for my dinky little short as well. +D

Oh, yeah. Poodie (aka Poodie Pie) wants me to mention that her FULL name is Lola Valerie Judith Gertrude Poodie. (Lo Val Judy Trudy Poodie for short...or just Poodie.) It's funny to look back on older things...for instance, I have SOOO many more Peeps now! XD
And, please....ALWAYS remember...this one thing....
I'll never forget Rielle asking what the one thing was, and whether the Poodie died. (Note: Poodie is immortal. But I have caused her defluffification, as well as Ulla's woolly over-fluffification...WHY MUST I RUIN EVERY DOG. ;____; ) Or J-Wink's flabbergastation at 4:58.
