To Chamber or Not to Chamber
In this video, we look at the difference between carrying a semi-automatic pistol with a round in the chamber vs. having to chamber a round prior to acquiring the target and pressing the trigger. The purpose is not to demonstrate how fast or slow the shooter is, but to establish a baseline comparison between the two carry options. (Keep in mind, the shooter was in a completely stress-free situation. A shooter who finds him or herself in a life and death situation, and is unfamiliar with the stress it will bring, will likely incur different results.)
