3 school cheat sheets exposed! 🏫🔎

Never get caught with these cheat sheets? My math teacher checks out 3 viral cheat sheet hacks!
Hiding a cheat sheet for the math exam on the back of your calculator – that's what creator @Daniel.ost recommends. According to my former math teacher, that's "kindergarten." To test this and other viral TikTok cheat sheet hacks, our reporter Tim traveled 300 kilometers to his old hometown and met his former math teacher at the Protestant cooperative comprehensive school "Wilhelm-Löhe-Schule," which was kind enough to spontaneously lend us a classroom for the shoot. 🫶

For the test, we recreated an exam situation and hid three cheat sheets for the teacher to find. 🕵️‍♂️

Among them is a cheat sheet that you're supposed to write on graph paper and then stick it on a protractor. This cheat sheet is supposed to be perfectly camouflaged because the transparent surface of the protractor and the graph paper glued underneath are supposed to blend in with the homework sheet. However, the teacher immediately exposes the cheat sheet and gives it a grade of 6. So, this cheat sheet fails. 📐❌

The same applies to the cheat sheet on the back of the calculator recommended by Daniel.ost. This cheat sheet also fails the test. According to the teacher, this cheat sheet is also widely known among teachers, which is why homework—at least for him—is written without a calculator cover. 😢

The only TikTok cheat sheet hack that passes the test recommends hiding the cheat sheet on the inside of a water bottle sleeve. However, this trick isn't entirely safe, because the teacher can see the cheat sheet from the right perspective. Experienced math and physics teachers have long been familiar with this cheat sheet, which is why it would likely have been discovered in a real exam. 🫨

So, these cheat sheet tricks on social media aren't necessarily reliable. So, unfortunately, there's no getting around the sometimes annoying study. 📚🧐
