Hello hello! ♡ Happy Valentine's Day to all who celebrate! Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe!
This was definitely one of my bigger projects to take on, from the translation to the new video style (if you've seen my other videos, you'll notice I've been definitely experimenting a lot, hehe~). I was so excited to cover this song and I wanted to keep improving my skills in each area, so I decided to take my time a little bit with the process!
Horimiya is a favorite of mine and I just love it so much~ hope one day I'll find a relationship that has the dynamic and chemistry that Hori and Miyamura have! I especially adore how they focus on both friendship relationships and romantic relationships. I found this focus to be present in Yakusoku as well, and I enjoyed interpreting and shaping the lyrics to evoke the meaning of the original song (in addition to staying as close as possible to the direct translations of every word!)
Anyway, I ramble~ Hope you enjoy this as much as I had fun making it!
