Making an Epic Tome w/ Secret Lock | Leather Bound Book w/ Brass Clasp
Each year, our podcast (Fools With Tools) facebook group hosts a sort of Secret Santa. We call it, the Treasure Trade. We are secretly given another maker to make something for, and create something special for them. This year I had the honour of getting John D. Harvey, a writer, artist, and blacksmith. I felt is was only fitting to make him a notebook for his creative works using leather, steel, and brass. The secret locking mechanism was my favourite part to make. Thanks for watching!
