Lightning Sailing - European Championship 2019
Racing Lightning Sailboats in the 2019 European Championship (Espoo, Finland) turned out to be much more intense than we expected! At first we hoped it would serve as a good practice regatta for the World Championship which started only a day after. But, we ended up leading the regatta up until the very end, so we had to push ourselves to stay at the top. After a dramatic crash which I unfortunately didn't film, our boat filled with water by the end of the day and made us super slow. Either way, we are super happy with our performance, and we know that we can keep sailing at the top if we give it everything!
