The Ultimate Finland Military Tour
Hello! Today we will visit a good military museum in the city Hämeenlinna, Finland. The permanent exhibition has been constructed in the three floors of the main building of the museum. The exhibition proceeds in chronological order from the Middle Ages when Finland was ruled by Sweden to modern times displaying in parallel the history of Finnish artillery, engineering and signalling. The exhibition also includes hands-on displays where you can try, for example, telegraphing. War-time documentaries are screened in the museum auditorium. The history of the Civil Guard, Lotta Svärd and Service Club organisations are also presented. The exhibition includes sections dedicated to, for example, Artillery General V. P. Nenonen, the scrambling of signalling, protection forming a part of engineering as well as the Armour Band.
