The Madlanga Commission of Inquiry in Pretoria is expected to hear North West businessman Suliman Carrim's application for a postponement.
Carrim has been implicated in the multimillion-rand Medicare24 South African Police Service tender.
The North-West businessman has not returned to the Commission to conclude his testimony, after apparently suffering a heart attack in April.
