Step 1: Preparing the Amla

Boil enough water in a large pot to cover the amla.
Add the amla to the boiling water and cook until they soften. This usually takes about 10-15 minutes.
Drain the water and let the amla cool.

Step 2: Cutting the Amla

Once the amla have cooled, gently cut them into small pieces. Remove the seeds.
Ensure the pieces are uniform in size for even soaking and drying.

Step 3: Adding Sugar

In a large bowl, mix the amla pieces with sugar. Ensure all pieces are well coated with sugar.
