In this video, I compare the newly released Garmin GPSMap 66sr https://amzn.to/398sjWD it is one of the first Garmin's high-end handheld outdoor GPS with GNSS multi-band support [GPS L1+L5 Band; Galileo E1+E5a; GLONASS] and my cell phone, which only had L1 GPS+WAAS. The only other GPS with multi-band support as of this video is the Garmin GPSMAP 65S https://amzn.to/3hNHGb1 (lower end, a lower-resolution display, and shorter battery life)

7:30 Conclusion
The test location is at my work, in a concrete building with limited sky exposure, and later on, far away from the window inside.
In my opinion, if you need accurate GPS tracking in dense foliage/deep canyon or concrete jungle metropolitan areas, the multi-band is worth the additional cost.
