Dr.William J. Murphy is the James E. Womack University Professor in the Veterinary Integrative Biosciences, Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, Dept. of Biology (joint appointment), College of Arts & Sciences, at Texas A&M University. Dr. Murphy does research in mammalian comparative genomics and phylogenomics.
