You Can Only Have One EQ Plugin: What Would You Choose?
Spoiler Alert that EQ Plugin would be the Fab Filter Pro Q 3. Lucky for us we live in a world where equalizer plugins are as plentiful as leaves on the trees in the middle of June. The point of this video is to discuss how I landed on the Pro Q 3 as my one and only EQ plugin and to examine and work with a few honorable mentions to show the relative pros and cons of some of the other EQ plugins I use regularly. The Pro Q is a plugin I could definitely live without but it would certainly slow me down on certain tasks during a production where I would prefer to be working as fast as possible. We look into the workflow and userinterface of all these plugins for standard EQ tasks, filtering, Mid/Side, and Dynamic EQ.
