Spicoli: March 26
Well, none of us expected a pandemic, did we? Fortunately, the marvelous keyboard comrade Isamu McGregor had the wherewithal to start #StuckAtHomeRecords -- and he organized a ton of musicians in multiple cities to collaborate on wee jams throughout the week while we're all tremendously under-employed thanks to Corona-cancellations.
This group, "Spicoli," consists of me (Brian Donohoe), Brian Holtz on bass, Joey Lefitz on drums, and Carey Clayton on guitar. Carey started this jam, Holtz and Lefitz constructed the propulsive booty-groove beneath, and then I went overboard with three saxophone tracks and three layers of keyboards. Here's the result of week one of #StuckAtHomeRecords with this particular squad.
