I’m going to show you how to upload a website to Hostinger in 2026, step by step. Whether you're using HTML files or a complete local website, this is your complete guide on how to host a website on Hostinger with zero coding.
This is the website we’re going to upload to our Hostinger web hosting account. Currently, it’s stored on my computer, and I’ll walk you through the full process of uploading a website to Hostinger.
To begin, go to hostinger.com and click on the Login button at the top right. Enter your username and password, then hit Login. This will take you directly to the Hostinger hPanel, also known as the Edge Panel, which is where we’ll manage our hosting.
From the Web Hosting section, click the Manage button next to the plan you’re using. Then select the domain where you want to host your website on Hostinger.
Click on File Manager, and inside that, open the public_html folder. If you want to upload your website on Hostinger to your main domain—like yourdomain.com—this is the place to put your files.
But since WordPress is already installed on my main domain, I’ll be uploading this site into a new folder. Still, the method I’m showing works perfectly whether you want to upload your website to the main domain or a subfolder on Hostinger.
From the left sidebar, click New Folder, give your folder a name, and click Create. This is where we’ll upload our website files to Hostinger.
Before uploading, make sure you’ve zipped your entire website into one file. This is the best way to upload your HTML files to Hostinger without missing anything. I’ve already zipped my local website files, and now I’ll upload them.
Click the Upload button from the top, choose File, select your ZIP file, and click Open. You’ll see that the upload begins instantly. Once it’s done, select the ZIP file and click Extract from the top menu. Give a folder name if required and hit Extract.
After that, double-click on the extracted folder. If there's another folder inside, open that too. Then, select all the files, starting from the first, hold Shift, and click the last file to select everything.
Click Move from the top menu, navigate back to the folder you created earlier, and click Move again. Now your website files are in the right place.
At this point, your HTML website is fully uploaded to Hostinger. If I now visit the domain where I uploaded it, you’ll see the live website in action.
