Water in my gas. See proof how the Ethanol in your gas extracts humidity / water from the air and winds up in your gas tank causing you costly repairs.

You need three things to make a motor run, fuel, fire and compression. Dirty fuel is usually the problem, water in the gas. How can you reduce water in your gas, keep the gas can, lawn mower, weed eater, generator etc... out of direct sunlight.

If a fuel tank is vented, the gas expands and contracts, this draws in air and humidity. The 10 % Ethanol in todays gas, extracts the water molecules from the air and trap them in the liquid gas. In the evening the fuels cools drawing in more air and humidity and during the day the vapor in the tank expand and pushes the vapors out repeating this process until the next time you use the equipment. In less than a month you will have standing water in the bottom of your fuel tank and when you try to start the equipment, water gets forced into the carburetor and keeps the equipment from firing.
