Consolidate slide masters with Slidewise
It is very easy to end up with multiple slide masters in your presentation, just copying a slide from one deck to another will do it. This causes content inconsistencies, additional maintenance and can also drive up the file size.
In this video, we'll show you Slidewise's feature to consolidate all your unwanted slide masters into one you wish to keep.
How to consolidate slide masters with Slidewise:
1. Navigate to the Slide Masters tab
2. Click the ellipsis button to the right of 'Active Slide Masters' and choose the 'Consolidate Slide Masters...' option.
3. Choose the Slide master you want to keep and then select all of the other Slide Masters you don't need.
4. Optionally opt to tag consolidated slide layouts with a comment (makes it easy to review results)
5. Click the 'Consolidate masters' button
Slidewise will then combine them and delete any unnecessary or used layouts. You can then optionally delete empty placeholders and any unused slide masters that have been preserved.
