MTU HIGHLIGHTS 2022 (English)
Last year was exciting, challenging—and full of highlights. We advanced our CLAIRE technology agenda, in which we formulate possible solutions and showcase the potential for sustainable commercial propulsion systems. Our vision is clear: we are committed to emissions-free flight! To this end, we have developed new propulsion designs based on the WET concept and the Flying Fuel CellTM in a bid to considerably reduce the impact that aviation propulsion systems have on the climate. We are also taking great strides toward the future with the Next European Fighter Engine, the centerpiece of the new European fighter jet. In addition, we are continuously expanding our global network, most recently with a new repair site in Serbia. We set an important course in 2022—and we will stay on the path to success in 2023!
