Hey there everyone, DrShnig here and here is How to Make a Minecraft Resourcepack IN ANY VERSION! Yes, the long-awaited updated series of how to create a resourcepack tutorial is going to be coming out now!
Anyhow, in this episode I go over how to get all of the default textures to create your resourcepack from scratch, how to get the pack.mcmeta and make a pack.png and create your first block texture. I hope this tutorial helped you!
The text from my pack.mcmeta file:
{
"pack": {
"pack_format": 4,
"description": "Temporary 1.13 resourcepack 4 a tutorial."
}
}

Wow, you actually read the entire description (or at least scrolled down to the bottom of it)? Huh. As a reward, here's the symbol you use to change the color of text in Minecraft texturepacks: §
Simply put it next to a number or letter in colorcode to change stuff. For example "§4§lDark Red Bolded" will result in dark red bolded text. You're welcome!
