Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month
Sept 15-Oct 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month! Jay and Jesus are both active members of the IDEA Team (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Action) and are passionate about the work they are doing.
"My goal is to have more Hispanic people come and apply to work for the Water Authority. I am an example to others that you can have equal opportunity to come work here," said Jay.
Jesus is the Chair of the Special Events committee and said, "There are not a lot of Hispanic people who are in leadership roles. I am excited that I get to be in a role to show others that you too can be the face of something important."
