What is AWS Backup ? | Cloud With Mohsin

In this theory session , we are going to learn a very interesting service i.e. 'AWS Backup Service'
AWS Backup is a fully-managed service that makes it easy to centralize and automate data protection across AWS services, in the cloud, and on premises.
AWS Backup does not govern backups taken in the AWS environment outside of AWS Backup. Backed up data is stored in the backup vault that stores and organizes the backups.
We can create backup policies known as backup plans to define backup requirements.
AWS resources and third-party applications that can back up and restore using AWS Backup are as below:
Amazon EC2 instances ,
Windows VSS-supported applications (including Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and
Microsoft Exchange Server) on Amazon EC2,
Amazon S3,
Amazon EBS,
Amazon DynamoDB,
Amazon RDS database instances,
Aurora clusters, Amazon EFS file systems,
FSx for Lustre ,
FSx for Windows,
Amazon Redshift clusters and many more
