Animated from 200 individual wood engravings
Made this short animation as an experiment in going from video capture to a series of wood stills and then back to a video format. I like the way the different wood grain patterns between the individual frames creates a static effect which lends its own motion to the piece.
Music was written & recorded by me and I asked myself for permission and, eventually, my self relented & gave me full rights to use the music in the video.
