An oil separator is implemented for separating and collecting lubrication oil contained in blow-by gas of an internal combustion engine. The "Coyote" V8 engine technically only needs an oil separator on the passenger side (right front) which houses the PCV system (PCV valve). The passenger side oil separator will filter out oil vapor from the crankcase exhaust that can easily gum up the throttle body and intake and/or create engine sludge.
