performing a play with zero rehearsal or acting experience...
Hello again! It's been a minute since I've posted, but as you might guess by the fact that this video is over an hour long, it took me a long time to put this together. Let me explain where this whole project came from:
I have been very fortunate over the last couple months to have received a bunch of books from my amazing language tutor Mr. Blatz, many of which are collections of plays. I quickly realized however that I have absolutely no interest or motivation to read them. Plays, as a teacher of mine once said, are meant to be performed, not read. Maybe you can see where my brain was going with this idea.
I was also heavily inspired to try this out by OSP (Overly Sarcastic Productions), and their performance of Hamlet without rehearsal (linked bellow).
Huge thanks to my friend Kate for doing this whole play with me, I had a lot of fun!
