Ohio State Football kicked off their 2024 college football season with a dominant win against the Akron Zips. The Buckeyes defeated the Zips 52-6 at Ohio Stadium. Ohio State started off slow but the heroics of Ohio State freshman phenom wide receiver Jeremiah Smith who had a crazy good freshman debut. Buckeyes quarterback Will Howard also came in and had his first start with the Buckeyes under head coach Ryan Day.
