Have been experimenting a bunch with ComfyUI/AnimateDiff workflows lately - and decided to post something that I was particularly happy with.
Have found it an interesting medium to work with - as instead of attempting to fight the usual uncanny feel and pushing toward realism, it's been fun to completely lean in to it instead and ramp up the uncanny as much as possible, with psychedelic, abstract and surrealist subject matter that better matches the outputs of the medium.
In the background is an old psychedelic adjacent piece of audio, generated from my modular synthesizer. Seemed to work well in terms of the sound, but also the approach in the sense that a lot of the modulation was generative, too - random control voltages creating unexpected sounds, within a limited parameter seemed to match the workflow of the visual side of things, too.
Would love to hear your thoughts on this, and if you'd like to see more experimental things along these lines, or if you prefer the other things I've created in Touchdesigner, Blender etc.
Hope you're all well! :)
